Default 370 numbers??

I am in the process of rebuilding an LQ4 with 167K on it and am wondering if anyone has some numbers and times for a healthy 370. I don't have the money for a 408, so stroking it is out of the question right now. I have tried doing searches for builds on these but to no avail. I know that I want to use the L92 heads and L67 intake, but I guess I'm curious to see what some of you guys have done without stroking the 6.0's. Cam specs and any details would be greatly appreciated!

There is a thread under my user name about the build. Cam is a 232/234 113+0, 12:1 SCR, PRC 5.3L race prepped 2.04/1.57 valves.

no numbers here, however I'm expecting ~800rwhp with a solid roller 370 myself... good luck.

As long as you get the cam choice right and have the right work on the heads you should have no problem making good power. It really depends on what you want out of the car, and what you are willing to put up with as far as manerisms on the street etc with the car. Out of the box L92 heads aren't worth a **** as we have seen on other setups, get a good valve job, atleast some exhaust port work and you should have no issue making 500+rwhp through a T56.

From all the tests I have seen and read about the L92 heads and L76 intake, they seem pretty promising right out of the box. The kit from SLP looks pretty good to some of us that don't have the money to spend on getting ported heads.

The heads from SLP are ported... the L92 heads havn't done anything with out of the box heads. There was a 402ci L92 headed C5 that was well publicized on this site a month or so ago that put down ~460 with STOCK L92 heads. They are nice heads out of the box, but still, they are stock heads and need some work to be great heads. You do whatever you want man, its your build.

According to SLP's site, they did nothing to the heads except mill them .030" and no porting unless I missed something. I guess I'm just seeing what everyone else has done and trying to do it with as little money as possible, a 6 month kid is not cheap to raise! Does anyone have personal experience with using these heads and intake on a 370?
