Default 99 TA Needs Heads/Cam-Need Info Plz

I pretty much figured out that if I want 400+ rwhp TA, the head/cam combo is the best bet since I don't have $5-6k for forced induction. Could some one give me an idea on a good combo and what the labor might (or shoulb be) from a perf. shop? Currently I have the following mods;

BBK 80mm tb
SLP Cold air/lid
MAC mids/no cats
Loudmouth II
Diablo II SLP Custom Tune
Granatelli MAF

I have a set of new1.85 SLP rockers with new LS6 springs and titanium keepers.
Should I buy bare heads and use these since they were so pricey?

Is an underdrive pulley worth the $ and are they difficult to install?

Thanks,

Very Motivated

I made over 400 cam only, do a bit of search and you will find what you are lookign for. Look at some of the sponsors to the right that have head and cam packages.

sell the rockers, and ls6 springs- kinda pointless because you will need larger springs for a decent cam, and the stock rockers are pretty dam good.

By the way it's an A4 and for sure needs to stay streetable, it's tough to keep my wife out of it!

Thanks for that info. Really sucks I spent $1100+ on the rockers and springs. I guess I was steered the wrong way prior to buying them. Guess I could use the rockers if I factor lift in, right?

I read about the combo install both dropping the engine out and also swapping in the car. Both methods claim to be relatively "easy". Any comment?

LS6 heads good or should they really be CNC if you are going with the effort?

Thanks,
tatasta

call TSP they have great combos also so great to talk to i have called many times. Patriot isnt bad either.
i would call TSP and see what the kit and install and tune would be. i bet your gonna be closer to that 5-6k you dont have. when i did mine with all supporting mods it was close to that. little stuff adds up IE injectors gaskets blah blah blah.
