Iam curious to hear the response on this question as well. I would imagine those pistons have a floating pin and the small end of the rods would need some honing by a machinist. I have also "been told" to check the big end of the stock rods for roundness after installing new rod bolts. Do not take this as an experienced answer though! This will hopefully get one of the people to reply and correct Me! lol. Carl.

Sorry guys, I missed this one! We have sold a handful of these kits for those that want some extra power handling without spending a fortune. The pistons are -5cc for anyone wanting to figure and play with compression numbers (1.338 comp height). They are pressed pins.

As for the machining (forgive me I am not a machinist and this may not be in technical terms): Being they are pressed fit, they'd just heat the small end and slide them in and then when they cool down, they are locked in. No honing needed. On the big end, since the stockers are "cracked" rods...if after putting new bolts in they are out of round....they're trashed. This is just the summary that one of our machinists told me, hope I didn't butcher his words too badly!
