Default low dyno #'s

finally got the car on the dyno and made a couple NA pulls.
first pull was 396 HP and 327 TQ added 2 degrees more timing and got 399 then 401 HP and 335 TQ. the torque number is almost as low as it was witht eh stock motor, any ideas?

Forged LS1, P&P heads milled .020, 2.055 int 1.60 exh, Comp 921's, 622/622 258/270, Comp "R" lifters, 7.400" Comp push rods, Wiend intake, BBK 80 mm Tbody, 42# inj, Pacesetter LT headers, 3" xpipe exhaust, SLP Lid, portred MAF ends, underdrive crank pulley, PTC 4K NLU converter, Granitelli 255 fuel pump

Im not familiar with that cam. Was it degreed when installing to ensure proper ICL or was it done dot to dot? I know that some cams with certain VE's can have poor tq #'s if they arent properly degreed. Ex 228/232 110+2 Im with 1989GTA with the whole rich thing. Looks like a better tune would help you out too.

What is your compression? With that much duration I would think that you would need 12:1.

The intake is not helping you, is it ported?

5.7 heads make low torque, compared to LS6 or TFS heads.

Maybe just spray it and not worry about the motor power....

Intake was not port mached to the heads, I know it should be and I will be doing that before it gets on the dyno again.

Compression is pretty much stock, shich once again I know is hurting me as well. I was still expecting atleast another 50 #ft out of this combo on motor

if your heads are hogged out with that big cam you probley wont make much torque

ya I know its a little rich and ive corrected my EQ table, but the problem is my LTFT's are out of wack now :sigh:
