Default Theory on cam vendors

FOR DISCUSSION:

I actually have this theory on the different vendors and what they accept for a margin of error.

The only proof I have is that a couple of cams from vendor A and a couple from vendor B all spec'ed out pretty different from each other despite being ordered the same as each other, while vendor C had the 2 cams that I know of being measured both dead on. Yeah they're $50 more, but it COULD be due to the narrower margin of error.

Anybody seen such a pattern?
Think it's a crazy theory?
Think it's right?

As long as the bearings were dead on, it never bothered me much if my lift and duration was a touch off. Ill never be able to notice a difference.

I have vendor "C"'s cam...and it's off slightly from their secret design spec.
