Default 427 or big cubed motors

i posted this in the cf but i have gained lots of info from the ls1 tech guys i know its goin in a corvette but same questions apply to you guys as well several questions to start who all has a 427 or big cubed N/A motor? how do you like your setup? what is your average cost for motor install and tune if you dont mind me asking. i want high tens or low elevens in the quarter i do not want n02 or FI. i have a dte stgII diff with 3.90's and i am about to buy a cartek clutch setup. what are you big cubed guys running in the 1/4. i know some guys run my goal times on H/C ls1's but i do not plan on launching the car at 5 grand i want low elevens or high tens with 1.8-1.9 60'. thanks for any info or advice thanks guys i love having all of this info at my fingertips this forum is great

My son and I have a 455 cu.in. LS1 in a 02 TA WS6 M6, 3.73 12 bolt Moser.
Runs 10.90 @127 Easy launch, easy shifting, closed exhaust and street tires.

To do it right, you are going to spend atleast $12 to $15k on the motor and drive train.

Yes....we are the ones. It was a great build and lots of fun.
Now that the project is complete and we met our goal of a 10 sec car in full street trim, it will be for sale in a couple of weeks.

There are many ways of getting to 427 cubes. Are you thinking a Darton LS1/6, a bored/stroked LS2, an LS7?

For the money I think the LS2 or L92 is hard to beat for NA combos.
