Default 5.3's on my 99 C5

I am looking for some heads for my 99 C5 daily driver and saw this:

"I have a set of 5.3L 862 casting heads, fully assambled, and look to be in great shape, truck ran fine when these were taking off at 66k miles. $125 plus shipping..."

Is this a resonable upgrade? I think it is a direct bolt on right? What should I expect to gain by them and what should I be considering before bolting them on? I have been saving for some Texas Speed heads, but maybe this is a no-brainer; or should I just keep saving for the TS parts?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Keep saving. Although you'll see an increase in compression, those heads flow LESS than your current 853 LS1 heads. They even have smaller valves.
