Default Can head chambers be enlarged?

I was just curious if the chamber on heads can be enlarged. I have a set of 65cc heads and I'd like to have them at 72cc. I have quite a bit of money and work invested in these and would like to hang on to them if possible.

A thicker head gasket would be easier, there should be a little room to enlarge the chamber but I wouldn't just go at them with a die grinder.

Not that big. A few cc's wouldn't be a big problem, but you're asking for a whole lot of enlargement.

It would be too easy to get into the water jacket IMO. Not sure if there is a common casting for the internal passages in the heads or not. If so, you may be able to have the chambers on a LQ4 head digitized and have that chamber cut to that profile.

It would be much cheaper to sell you heads and get what you want, or to have ordered a dished piston (Assuming this is for the 408 in your sig.)

After checking I would need something around a -30cc dish or more to get my compression low enough. Do I have many piston options? Is it a good idea to have that much dish with boost?

Honestly I know you have money tied up in these heads, but for boost head porting isn't as critical as it is for N/A. I really think you would be better off selling your heads and getting some truck LQ4/LQ9 heads that already have 71cc chambers orif it's in your budget a set of the new L92 heads and L76 intake.
