Default heads and cam combo?

im looking into getting a heads and cam combo for my car very soon. i was thinking about the 5.3l heads. ssince they are cheaper and do flow pretty good. but i have been having a really hard time trying to find a good cam to go with these heads. and i dont know if ptv will be an issue. do you guys have any ideas for me? ive been searching for the past 2 gours

TSP has some really good proven ones:

Something in the range of a 224/224(like the 224R cam) up to 230/230-ish (like the torquer V.2) would be good. The 228R or the V.2 would be best if you want good power across the band. Bigger cams are for those who live in the upper rpm's

We can fix you up with a cam and heads deal, give me a call at 512-257-0222. I'd be happy to go over some options with you, if nothing else I'll point you in the right direction.
