Modifications to ls1 block or not?

Default Modifications to ls1 block or not?

Right now I have a stock ls1 block with 6.0 liter heads 315 casting I think am I going to have to do anything to the block or would anyone recomend doing anything like boreing out the block?

I would reccomend mailing me your heads and using your block as a planter.

but seriously what do you mean by "need" to do.. you dont need to do anything, what the hell do you "want" to do is where you should start.

If your going to rebuild it there is a lot to do to the block. Debur all the flash. Line bore/hone. Deck if needed. Hone for new pistons. Cam bearings. I think the machine shop got into me about 500 for my LS1 block alone.
