Default tr227/224 in lq4

I have a tr227/224 (227/224 .569/.563 114 LSA) laying around and was thinking of putting it in a 2500hd with lq4 5spd and 4:10 gear's I'm wondering if the cam may be a little to much for the truck. I tow with it from time to time but only about 5k nothing really much heavier. the truch cruises at about 2200-2300 rpm's most of the time with teh gears in it now.I'm not building a racer just wanted to add a little more power to the truck. thanks for the help

I do not think it would be too much. I got the same cam in my Camaro and its a great daily driver. I attached a scan of my dyno with that cam and SLP longtube headers, this way you can see what your torque curve will look like and where power is being made. Hope this helps.
