Default Cam Experts: Critique my custom grind cam choice

Hi guys, here is my upcoming custom grind cam choice for my 99 FRC C5. Please critique at will!

226/226 XE-R lobes, 108 LSA +1 advance, 0.585 lift

Mods:

LS1 intake, stock TB, Vararam induction. May eventually move to LS6.
TPIS 1 3/4 longtubes with hi-flow cats, X-pipe and cat-back
PRC 2.5r 5.3L heads milled to 62cc with PRC dual springs.

Valve events @ 0.050:

IVO 6 BTDC
IVC 40 ABDC
EVO 42 BBDC
EVC 4 ATDC

Overlap 10*

Gasket thickness: 0.040
SCR: 11.33
DCR: 9.02
Fuel: Chevron 94 Octane. Will run Torco if necessary to keep KR in check.

Goals:

AutoX and road racing + 5K city street driven miles per year. Maximum mid-range HP under the curve between 3500 and 5500 RPM. Peak HP around 6000 RPM and shift no higher then 6500 thanks to my weak rod bolts that I am not willing to replace. I chose XE-R lobes for their proven valvetrain durability on the street with minimum maintainance requirements. I don't want to be checking/replacing springs. I do not care about lope/idle quality and I have solid tuning experience with my EFILive. I do not need to worry about emissiones.

Any thoughts, recommendations, or glaring issues with this cam choice? I'm willing to try something a bit different (i.e. the 108 or perhaps tighter LSA) and will report back with results.

Cheers,

Craig
