Default What LSA to get with the TSP MS4 kit

Hey guys I am going to order the ms4 cam kit but I was wondering what LSA would be good for my car. My mods are in my sig and I am not planning on doing anything else anytime soon. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks guys

it all depends on how lopey you want your car to sound, I have mine on a 110lsa, if you get it on either one 111 or 112lsa you would be happy with it just make sure you get a really good tune, the other thing to think about is if you are going to have to flycut, I know most people that are running 111lsa didn't have to flycut.

I was thinking of leaving it like that with out flycutting. So do you think 111lsa would be alright? Thanks for the info

you will be fine with the 111lsa without flycutting, just make dang sure to get a really good tune, without it you are going to hate driving your car. I have this cam installed in my M6 also

without a good tune the car bucks and surges at lower rpm's and keeps wanting to stall out when you come to a stop, I tried driving mine after the install around the hills of freaking Utah, and that was a pian in my but had to use all three pedals at the same time with only my two feet, it wasn't fun at all, plus with mine since the cam is so big my car ran pig rich until I got it tuned the next day.

Also if you dont mind me asking, which LSA do you want to get for the lopey sound? A higher or lower number?

the lower the number the lopier the sound, but the lower you go the more you run into if you are going to have to worry about PTV clearance and if you are going to have to flycut or not, and I see you are from Carbon Hill, I was born and raised in Jasper

So I would be safer with a 112 instead of a 111 or would it be almost about the same thing?

you would be safer with a 112, but it is not that huge of a difference between the two, but just for ease of driving and tuning I would go with a 112

cool thanks alot for the info man and sorry for all the questions but I wanted to understand a little better how it works. One last question would a 113 be ok to drive for a while until I can afford to get it tuned. Thanks

Hey, small world, eh? And quikss I think TSP only charges like $100 to mail tune your stock computer. I mean whats an extra $100 when your already spending $700

I wouldnt drive the ms4 cam without a tune no matter what the lsa is. Wait to install the cam until you can afford to get it tuned.

you can drive it but I don't recommend it, my car was tuned froma previous cam I had installed that is the only reason the car even ran somewhat decent, I don't know what it will do with a stock tune, no matter what lsa you get you still need to get it tuned right after.
