Default Gathering up parts for my PatrickG Cam install. Questions

I'm getting all my parts together for my PatrickG cam install and have a few questions. I'm going to get a new oil pump. Should I get a stock pump or a ported pump? Also my cam calls for 7.45 pushrods, what kind should I get and where from? I'm going to upgrade to a LS2 timing chain with gears and I ordered Patriot Gold springs. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Get a ported LS6 oil pump and the 7.450" pushrods from Thunder Racing.

Me too. If they don't land on my door by Friday, I'm putting in LS7 lifters instead.

You guys might want to measure pushrod length. Not 100% sure yet but from what I can gather, it seems the LS7 require shorter p-rods (don't know about Caddies yet).

can anyone verify this ?
