Default factory piston to wall clearance?

Anyone have the piston to wall specs on a stock ls1 motor? Is it .002-.003?

I'm not 100% sure but IIRC it is .009 + or so (therefore piston slap)

.009 sounds tight to me even with cast pistons, could this be true????

From what I could gather it is a range from .009 to .012 on average due to the method GM is using to build those blocks.
