Default LS1intake versus LS6

what is the difference ,how much more hp,air etc. will i gain any noticable sop is it worth it and what is a good price for one, or is it better to go aftermarket like a fast etc.

The LS6 is bigger inside letting more air go through, more air means more power since you engine can breathe alot better.

But anyways, there is a SOTP feel. HP gains is roughly 10-15 RWHP. Flows alot better than the LS1. A ported throttle body is great when matched up to it. Good price is between $300 - $350. That's the going rate for a used LS6 intake in good condition. Step up to the FAST 90 if you going with heads/cam or a huge cam in a cam only setup.

I was real impressed with the ls6 intake. i changes it after i did a cam it gave me a sotp difference for sure.

Your not gonna feel any difference if all you do is change the intake from a LS1 to a LS6. Even if you gain 15 RWHP, which is at the high end (most gain 5-10 RWHP) your not really gonna feel that unless you tune at the same time or something. I gained 6 RWHP from my LS6 swap. Is it worth it, YES, but don't expect to any huge improvements or you might be pissed lol.
