Well, pulled the knock sensors...
Was throwing po327 code, and was getting false knock all over the place, so, I figured it would a good time to install an LS6 intake and change knock sensors. Well, this is what we found inside...
And this was the wire to the rear sensor.....
Anyone have an idea on how the wire did that??? It wasnt touching anything at all. Well, we repaired the wire, installed the new sensors, and the manifold, feels a lot better now. and it isnt flashing 6.9 degrees of knock retard on the interceptors all the time like it was before.

the same thing happened to me, water got around my knock sensors, and shorted them out. the rubber boot on top wasn't sealed all the way when the engine was put in

Does anyone have the part number for the knock sensors. I have to change mine as well. Is there just one or two of them? I assume the best place to buy would be gmpartsdirect?
Thanks.
Thanks.
