Would you be concerned about this mark on the cylinder wall? Pics inside 
A few of the cylinders have them. I got a new shortblock today and noticed this. It will not wipe off, I can't feel it with my finger but my fingernail will catch on it a tiny little bit. Just wondering, thanks!

My fingernail catches on it... if it's from a ring what will it do at 6500 rpm?

That should not be there on a new shortblock. As mentioned most likely from a ring burr catching the wall of the bore during install. If you can catch it with your fingernail then I would have it honed again. I know the shortblock has to come back apart and it will cost more $$$, but it's well worth it to do it right. Assembling without fixing the gouge will lead to that cylinder having increased leakdown loss early on in life.
