Default Almost cam time

Finally going to be getting some money here and I have been dying to cam my car (after the suspension is done). This is a street car with some auto-x and back road runs. Looking for a nice torquey cam that keeps my rev limiter under 6500 and is somewhat different. So I'm about 80% sure I'm gonna order up a 224/228 109+1 on XER lobes (.581/.588).

8* of overlap should sound pretty good through the dumps and shouldn't be incredibly hard to tune, which I will be doing via HPTuners. Just looking for some feedback and recommendations. Mods in sig and the DCR should be around 8.25-8.3 if I don't totally suck at math.

yo, I got a cam the specs are *I think* 224/228 .581/.588 on a 114lsa that came out of a motor I bought, if you think you may like it, hit me up, im looknig to sell it cheap

Im going with a 228R cam so I have no need for that old cam. I bought the motor from speed inc out of an 02T/A with 32k miles. no idea how long the cam was in it but made 412rwhp through an M6 with aRE ported ls1 heads on it.

Just get a TR224 or a TSP 224R!!! I have the 224R and I love my 8.6DCR (and 410whp). Good luck, man!
