has any1 broke a valve lock
i was installing my patriot springs and the lock broke in half. kinds of scaries me on once i put the heads on and start it up is any other going to break?

This problem is very unsual. That lock is machined for us right here in the states. It sounds like it may have been put in an unusual strain, perhaps during the install. With as many as we sell (10-20 kits per day), you should have no worries. If you need a replacement lock please let us know.

thanks gunnar. i have one of those big c-clamp looking valve spring installers. as soon as i put the lock in and started to let the clamp lose so the spring can lock those locks in place i heard a big snap and i looked at it and it has a crack all the way down the middle. but thank you gunnar for sending me another lock. now i see why everyone buy stuff from you

I have the Manley machined locks. They may be the same ones that
Patroit uses. I have to believe, that even though they are rarely an issue, that machined would be better than stamped.
