Default Best head for my setup?

I don't know if this is in the right sections so feel free to move. I'm looking to get a set of heads on my car and was wondering what are the best ones? I heard Trick Flows will net the most power and be the most expensive. My concerns are getting the max power with getting maximum driveability. Mods are in my sigs. Thanks guys.

i think youll be good to go with the TFS heads! also, if your on a budget, the TSP heads are also proven also.

I think i'm leaning toward trick flows. How much power would it add to my setup?

But why spend all the money on something that you can get for less money?

Good set of heads with some added compression can net you up to 40-50 RWHP or so.

Another head to check out that has done proven numbers over and over is the TSP/PRC Stage 2.5 5.3 head.

Thats a big runner for a 346 motor. I missed out if you were forced induction or something. If you are N/A, a 200-220 cc runner is about the range you want to stay in for the best power/torque combination.

trickflow heads flow 320 cfm on intake and 259 on the exhaust and livernosis flow 305 cfm on the intake and 235 cfm on the exhaust it is a difference but not sure how much 15 more cfm and almost 30 more cfm on the exhaust will make

I am wondering the same thing. Im puting a 5.3L into my s10. The only mods are tune and cam (216/220) I have casting number 706s now. Should have them ported, or should I get a different casting number to have ported?

Trickflows are not $2500 each. they are ~$2500 for the pair fully assembled.

My cam is pretty close to what your running, I went with Patriot LS6 style heads, I did alot of research and I'm very happy with the patriot heads, I ended up with 439rwhp and 388rwtq and that is on a mustang dyno.
