TRex/TFS 215cc Combo???
Anyone running this setup? Im not wanting to flycut due to not having an extra set of heads to play with... can i make due with the different valve angles these heads provide and a thicker gasket?

depends on what size valve you have.I would think you will have to fly cut or get some forged pistons with reliefs.Using a thicker gasket will just lower your compression some and lose power

TFS heads provide a lot more P-t-V clearance than stock heads due to the rolled valve angle and they up the compression slighty (due to 64cc vs stock 66cc chambers). I'd run a .040" Cometic and mill the heads to 62cc or 60cc for even more power. You'll have to check to check P-t-V at 60cc, but at the stock 64cc, you are fine.

The t-rex is a great cam, look in the record books, it holds all the cam only records. Because that is what it was designed for, to be the biggest cam only cam. When you add aftermarket heads into the mix, it becomes a whole different ball game. Have a cam ground to your combination. while the T-rex will pickup more power with the addition of better heads, There are other(smaller) cams that will equal the total output and have a much better area under the curve. for everyone else....
what if all i want is top end?
am i really going to lose that much under the curve?
...i know this is a top end cam going into it and not much down low either
