oil pick up tube- same query- single bolt?

oil pick up tube- same query- single bolt? can anyone help? does the std oil pick-up tube bolt in with just one bolt to the oil pump?
mine is going dry sump and i only have a single bolt to hold the pick up tube in, but the adaptor to oil pump is drilled for two bolt fixing.
the adaptor is a very snug fit anyway with the o-ring etc, and a single bolt, but confused as to if that is enough to retain it? (stock Ls1 engine 2000 model.)
