Default LG G5 cam or F-13

LG Motorsports G5, 224/230 .581 .572 114 LSA

F-13 230/232 595/585 114lsa

which one make better numbers? this is not my DD so i don't really care about street manners... i do like a lopy sounding idle... one is used with 15k on it(g5) and the other is used with 6k on it (f-13)

i have 918 springs , long tubes, true duals, and lid......

Between the two given, the F13 of course. It's bigger. But why just these two?

I love my F13. NIce sound and plenty of power.

Tame? For what? LOL! If I had it to do over again, I'd go 114 on my X3. I've seen the 114 pull longer on the top end where it counts.

918s will cut it fine, you have a Z06 with lightweight valves, the perfect combo for a high reving system. Titanium retainers would make it even lighter.

sorry guys... this is for my 00 TA not the z06.....this is also just a g5 cam not the g5x according to the LG website. i read that the G5 cam is a supercharger friendly cam also, which is the direction i am eventually headed... previous owner of this cam made 386rwhp and 395tq. only other mods were LT headers and true duals... my TA sits now with LT headers and true duals as well as the 918's and mti lid.

Have you driven a car with an X3 in it? I have it, and there's no problem with driving it at all. I let a friend drive it last night, and he's ready to pull his Torquer 2 out and put an X3 in.

WIth that Comp, you'd have to buy bigger springs. What is it that you're wanting? Bigger numbers, but do you mean just peak numbers on a worthless dyno sheet? Track times? Good power but very drivable? The bigger cam will of course make bigger peak numbers on a dyno. But I've seen an F13 or F14 (I forget which one and they're so similar that it really doesn't matter) go into the low 11's on motor.

no i havent. i hear nothing but good things from the x3 though. i talked to bobby @LG and he highly recommends that x3 cam. or if those cams are too big, look into the g5x2.
