**Speed Inc/ Big Jason Racing - PICS**
Well, some of you may know my story and 99% of the rest of you have no clue to who I am and what I have gone through with my 1998 CAMARO SS. First a brief history. I bought it new, drove it for 3 years made some mods, then decided I wanted to go faster. Like any smart drag racer, I formulated a plan and put it into action. And because I'm not as smart as I thought, the plans shifted, changed, were revamped, reworked, reorganized and finally when I had enough money to do SOMETHING I went ahead and stuck with the basics and took nearly 24 hours to decided to take the car to Speed Inc. in Chicago. So after 3 years of collecting dust, emptying my bank account every chance it got here is the end result......well its almost the end.
The Journey.....
I loaded the car up onto a rented trailer on May 8th, along with a couple of my most faithful and patient friends we set off from my home in Bellevue Nebraska to Chicago.
We drove through the night, and after drinking what had to be a combined equivalent of a pony keg of energy drinks we finally arrived at Speed Inc.
We were tired, and the energy drinks were wearing off. But we managed to get it pushed off the trailer. Pushed because the motor had spun a bearing in 2003. It was dirty as hell from sitting in my garage for a few years. I was approaching total melt down after being up for nearly 28 hours, and still having a 9 hour drive home ahead of me without so much as a nap I managed to put on a brave face, and say good bye to my baby. Leaving it the capable hands of Larry and his Speed Inc crew.
I'm going to pick it up next week, but Larry was able to supply me with a few spy photo's of my new motor.
Dyno numbers, and track numbers will be coming in the near future. The car details are in my sig. Just remember, if it make you go fast and its expensive, its probabley installed in this car. To be continued..........

Okay, one last thing. This little family was seen near Speed Inc, and after a few minutes of panic and me being stared down by a hissing daddy goose I managed to convince these darn Canadian visitors to please not wonder out towards the Elgin Expressway. Talk about cute factor, when my wife seen this she pictured me out dodging traffic, nearly getting run over by a morning commuter to save a few of gods littliest miracles. I'm sure the GODS OF SPEED were happy with me doing my part to keep a little family safe. Now everyone all together.....go OOOOHHHH HOW CUTE!

Larry just called it goes on the dyno tonight, needless to say I feel like a father in the waiting room hoping his baby is born with 10 toes and 10 fingers and healthy. Mainly because my budget is DRAINED, and I just about have gas money to go out and get it in Chicago.

Nothing to update yet. My wife was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and pretty much I have been in a tailspin since. The last time off the dyno it hit 400 rwhp with a lazy as hell converter that needs to be re-stalled. Not going to sweat it, as friends with loose converters have put down 350-390 rwhp and hit 10's. One in particular was spraying a 300 shot on the dyno and only hit 400. This was a stroker motor with a list 10 feet long of mods. I'm going to get it to the track sooner or later.
Hard to find any joy in the car while my wife is going through a tough time.
