low oil pressure after cam swap
last night i put in an ms3 into my car and it had great oil pressure as i am driving it home i lose 10 psi i thought that it might have been the shims for the oil pump but it had great pressure before i drove it. i let it warm up before i left to see if the coolant had any air pockets and everything looked normal. you think that it might be the pickup tube oring?

oil pump o rings are not reusable
once compressed they must be replaced
the fact that it may not have been properly re-installed could be bc the o-ring is torn or wasn't seated properly
but regardless MUST be replaced
otherwise on load oil will aerate & ticking will occur

He used a new O-ring.
I told him to check to see if it was pinched. Also to check the Spacers for the Double Roller Timming Chain to make sure they were not on wrong.
