Default plugs/wires/coils/valves!? hellllllp

just swapped out old TR55's and put in new TR6's. That was the only thing changed. Car now misfires under heavy throttle. No knock. HP Tuners indicates it's the driver's side bank. Pulled all the TR6's, checked them, regapped them .040, changed which cylinders they were installed in, put everything back together and it still misses.

Got new plug wires, changed out the bad side, still misses, exact same behavior. Fast foward 24 hrs, now it acts completely dead under full throttle instead of intermitent missing. I have 2 new TR6s coming in tonite to check for a dead or overtorqued plug. My gut feeling is this is not going to solve it.

How will i know if it is a coil problem? also, when I take my valve covers off, what should i be looking for? This is REALLY getting on my nerves as it is my DD. any help greatly appreciated.

Try changing back to the TR55's and the original wires. If indeed that is the only thing you changed, it should eliminate the misfire.
