Default Bigger cam = Better ET's in my car?

Hello all,

I was talking to cartek and at least for their stage II heads they are saying a 222/226-114 (567 lift) cam would be better than a TR 224/224-112/4.

They aren't saying it would give better PEAK #'s, they are saying it would give better under-the-curve #'s and better ET's.

My mod's are in my .sig.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Glenn

HEy Glenn

I would stick to Carteks cam selection. They have alot of fast cars out there plus if you dont like the way it runs you only have 1 place to call to find out why. Ive had work done at cartek and whould highly recomend them,

I like how Cartek thinks. Listen to their advice.

"Area under the torque curve", not peak torque or hp is what makes your car accelerate faster. Some folks refer to "average torque/hp" in the range you operate the engine; that's basically the same thing.
