thats what my heads were milled to so im just making sure. If I did get knock should I just set the high octane tables to say 26 instead of 28 for 5200+rpms?
i have my own ls1 edit version so i can tweak anything.. just the less tweakin i have to do, the better

I am by no means an expert but I do not think that you will miss out on any HP by going 10.8:1 as oppose to 11:1. It is hard to lower the compression if you go too high.
Then again maybe there is very little difference in the possibility of spark knock between 10.8:1 and 11:1. Stock LS1 is 10.1:1 and the LS6 is what 10.6 or 10.8:1 and it runs fine but the LS6 timing is lower.

thats why i posted.. i got your IM
i doubt the difference is anything, but I think Brent already has mine milled anyway I know a few of my friends have 11:1 and they are fine with pump gas. I guess if anything ill set the timing a little lower in the higher tables on edit
John, dont be tryin to scare me cause your boss wont give in and mine did

I'm running 11.1:1 on 91 (only thing I can get out here in AZ). Below 4500 RPM I have NO knock problems (0 KR) but if I plan to go above that (ie: race), I toss in two gallons of 104 octane race gas which brings my rating up to 93. At 93 I can go full throttle all the way into the 6000s with 26 degrees of spark advance.

Sure wish we had an option to turn off our sigs....?????
Anywho...I have the same setup and run timing at 29 at 5200 rpm and then flat line it at 31 deg. to redline. I run 92 octane w/ no knock at all. A/F is dialed in around 13.3.
I think the key is how you set your timing at max tq. Monday I am going to experiment with the fuel curve to see how this setup responds.
