are some heads better?? im looking at heads on texas-speed.com and my question is:
the 5.3 stg 2.5 heads are only 1200 and flow better at .300 and .600 than just about any other head they sell .is there any advantage with the more expensive afr's or edelbrocks even though they advertise less flow?

Flow numbers do help in the choice of the head, but you must also consider compression ratio. Its best practice to chose a cam that works well with the head you choose.
