Pinning balancer - how many pins to use?

Pinning balancer - how many pins to use? I've got the crank pinning tool and a handful of pins... Is 1 pin sufficient or could I throw another one on there just opposite for good measure?

One should be good, but since you have more why not go ahead and use 2. Your real worry is the crappy stock balancer coming apart. While you're in there replace it with an ati. I've seen stock balancers come apart and destroy supercharger brackets, steering racks, etc. Pinning the balancer only protects you if the balancer actually stays in one piece.
