Default Build the LS1 or get a LS2

Well my LS1 is reaching 100k this month. Full bolt ons and she still runs mean, doesn't burn oil, no noises out of the ordinary. I was thinking, will it be worth it to heads/cam this thing, or just save that money for an LS2 crate motor when this motor goes. I expect to get at least another 50k from thE Ls1, but if I redo the top end do you think the bottom end will hold up to the abuse? I don't hit the track more than once a year, and its a daily driver. Any input is greatly appreciated

Great idea. Would the LS2 just drop into the F body without issues like computer reprogramming, etc? I'd wait for the LS2, although who can resist the temptation to head and 'cam an LS1?

Depends on your budget. An LS2 will drop in so long as you have an LS1 crank reluctor and the appropriate wiring harnes conversions, etc...

What are your goals?
