Default 422 stroker cam choice

I'm in the process of having a 6.0 iron block 422 stroker built for my 02 Z06. It will consist of Eagle rods, crank and Diamond pistons. I am going with ported L92 heads from Livernois Motorsports and also a port matched L76 intake. I was wondering what cam I should go with. I have heard to go with a smaller cam with the L92s but with the big cubes it should easily swallow a big cam and still be very streetable. I was thinking of the G5X4. This is a weekend car but will be still keeping all of the accessories. I am hoping for an easy 500 rwhp and close to that in rwtq. Thanks!

If it were me I'd go right to my head supplier, which in your case would be Livernois, and get their take on what cam would make their heads perform to their fullest.

That's what my builder's doing but I wanted to get an opinion from here also.

Well, I've decided I'm going to go with the 235cc Trick Flow heads. Unfortunately, my wallet only goes so deep and I'll have to stay with the LS6 intake for the time being. With that being said, would you recommend the G5X4? Thanks.

The G5X4 isn't a bad cam at all for a big motor. It's will be a little mild in that displacement with duration in the low 240s(240/244 IIRC) but with good compression, it makes power.

I believe one guy around here put one in his 402 with ETP215's and ended up making 510+whp/500+wtq.
