Bent push rod

Bent push rod Acouple of months ago I went to the track, and on the last run I bent a push rod. I drove home very carefully, took the vavle cover off and found the problem. A rocker arm throw its bearings and bent that push rod. So I replaced them both and put everything back together. The car started up and everything sounded good. The car drove great. Well I went to the track again this weekend and bent the same push rod. The rocker arm was good this time. Does it sound like I have a bad lifter?
