GM Scorpion rockers. Any one useing them. I am thinking I should step up to a full roller rocker system since I am routinly revving my engine past 6,800. I am also useing a faily large cam (239/244 .651/612) and my stock rockers have 40,000 miles on them. I am looking for a direct bolt on non adjustable. It is too much of a pain to get to the crank bolt on a Vette for valve adjustments. I had a set of Harland Sharps but traded them a while back. I was also looking at the new Yello Terra's but I think those are adjustable. Then I saw the new GM Scorpions. Has any one uesed these yet? What do you all recommend?

I think you're talking about the Scorpion rockers you see us advertising! They're made by Scorpion, not General Motors!
They are a very nice rocker! They are a bolt-on OR replacement that require no guide plates, no changing pushrod lengths, no rocker studs, no need for valve cover spacers, etc! They even use the factory bolts, torqued to factory torque specs!
We keep them in stock in 1.7rr and 1.8rr! Let me know if I can help in any way!

I have seen two vendors other than SDPC state that they provide a very narrow wipe pattern as installed and they seem to be of high quality. They also seem to be a good rocker. If you do get them, let us know how they work out. I am currently running the Crane adjustables, but if I were to go the non-adjustable route I would likely go with the Scorpions.

Sorry Matt for the misrepresentation. They sound good. I have to get a 90/90 on my combo first but they sound like they will be my final bolt on. Do you know if any one is getting any power out of them? Do they cause any valve float over the stock rockers due to weight? Thanks.

They are an LS1/2/6 direct replacement....if those stock rockers work on an application, these will too

I have these rockers and i had the exhaust valve rocker over #5 break on me, just got my new one yesterday. i'll put up a pic on monday. it didnt punch through like that one did. it more or less 'peeled' off the back of the rocker around the cup. i swapped out a rocker in it works fine so there is nothing wrong with any part of my valvetrain, the other rockers seem to be fine. if it happenes again though they will be getting replaced.

The ads list them as the quietest rocker arm on the market, I wonder how much of a difference they make. They also say that they are the lightwieght, anyone know how they compare in weight to the stock rockers? I've shyed away from aftermarket rocker arms because of the issues with valve float because of the extra weight, but if these are just as light on the tip, it may be a good option.
