Questions on buying used block How can you tell if a block is good or not? I mean, I've found a used 6.0L iron block that was burnt. Heads and intake burned, but that's just plastic and aluminum. It might've sat outside to get wet... I have to go look at it tomorrow or next week. How can I tell if it's okay or not? I don't think the fire would hurt the block but the water might. I'm just needing the block and crank. What do I need to look for?
