Default Opinions on TR 224 and Yella Terra 1.8 ratios

Just wanted some opinions on whether this would be possible....using the Yella Terra 1.8 ratio rocker arms with a TR224 .563 @112 cam. The heads are milled .030 and have 2.02/1.57 valves. I will probably get the rocker arms, but should I go with the 1.8's giving me a total valve lift of .596"? Am I going to have P/V clearance issus with the milled heads and bigger valves? Should I cut the pistons? Willing to take any input on pros and cons....
TIA,
Joe

I had the same dilemna....I went with the 1.7's for peace of mind. I don't think the lift increase is worth the added valve train stress. Dual springs would me a must. Good Luck!
Talk to Paul at Thunder...he will agree.

I would use something similiar to the REV 1116 springs, if I went with this setup.... The '01 heads I am going to use would peak out around 277 cfm and 192 cfm with a .596 lift. If just swapping in Yella Terras by themselves nets a 8-10 RWHP gain, then going with 1.8's would net somewhere closer to 20RWHP I would think. That is it would be 15-20 more than I would see from a stock rocker with 1.7 ratio. Any more opinions?
