Best cam for a 383 build Im building a 383 to go into a 96 s10 along with a T56 trans, and have a 5.3L block that is going to be bored out to 3.905, a callies compstar 4in stroke crank and 6.125 rods, Mahl -6cc dish pistons, Ls2 243 heads, and LS2 intake and Holley 90mm TB, will be running tunercat for the tuning 411 PCM with a custom wiring harness to make it all work in the truck.
Just looking for some cam advice, this isnt going to be a full on drag truck or a daily driverm it needs to be a good all around performer, and still run on pump gas.
