Default LS1 to LS6 top end conversion: What Cam?

I currently have an LS1 block with ported complete LS6 heads, a F.A.S.T. intake manifold with the F.A.S.T. throttle body, and am currently looking at various cams to bring out good power for street usage (not some of these more aggressive race camshafts, yet). I want that noticeable loopey idle that I am sure we are all after that makes some GOOD power, and I am more than willing on upgrading the necessary valvetrain components in doing so. I looked at some cams with duration in the 230s, LSA 112 or so, but the lift was only .525/.525 and was thinking that the good lift here would be between .550 and .600. I know that duration is the important factor here, what should I be looking at? Thanks for any help you can give me!

Well, I assume youve checked out some local cars and have decided 230ish range is right for you? If not, start there...

Personally, I like the Torquer2 or 233/239 cams, or the futral f13 or f14 cams. 112 LSA. All close to .600 lift. I also like the patriot gold springs for them. All of those cams have seen over 400 RWHP cam-only. With ported LS6 and FAST intake, you could be looking at 440+ with a little luck.
