Look in the tools section. I made my own cam install rods (Home Depot dowel rods-I think they were 5/16"). Do a search and you should find a picture.

I used Larry's Value spring tool ($30). It worked great.

I am sorry it is Tim's Tool now. It is just like the old Larry's tool. Larry's tool I think was $40+ but Tim's is $30 shipped.

I rent out a cam swap tool package that comes with the crane tool, the jpr rods, air fittings and hose for compressed air to hold the valves up and the dampner install tool by 618hawk, plus a pushrod length checker. pm me for details. Dont wait til the lst minute to get organized.

If you want to buy, Vinci has the best price on the Crane tool >>>>>>>>

Renting is certainly another option if you are only going to use it once.

I rented from Blanco and it worked out great. Glad I didn't buy these things for one time use. Didn't realize you had the dampner install tool too!
