Default no traction control after h/c install

just finished a h/c install on a friends 2000 z28.

everything is great except the fact that the traction control wont turn on or off...just stays off it says.

i dont think i missed any plug ins....so what is the deal? the egr isnt plugged in and neither is one of the plug ins that went to the smog system (removed that stuff)....but i dont think this would effect the traction control would it?

its a 6 speed car btw. torquer 3 cam and prc 5.3 stage 2.5 heads if that matters at all.

thanks a lot

did you plug in the connector right behind the battery to the TC module?

If you are throwing random misfire codes, that will deactivate TCS.

look for a p1060 code. It has to do with the map/TPS relationship usualy low map pressure. Really common after big cam installations. As long as you really dont have a vacumn leak. I deleted that codes reporting and problem was solved for me.

I had the same problem after my cam swap, I didn't do anything and after a couple of days the dash light went off and worked again.
