Unhappy Am i paraniod or screwed?

Hey guys... last night it was late and i was at the gas pump and accidently put in 87. Now I know premium is the best for these cars and ive never put anything but. So now im wondering if it will hurt the performance or what i should/can do? I was pissed cuz the gas station i normally go to the premium is on the far right and naturally i went for the far right pump and not paying attention i put in 87 ($35bucks worth by the time i noticed). Now i feel like a moron and a noob but im **** about my car, its my baby. I dont think its really gonna harm anyhting but a little reenforcement on that would make me feel better haha
Thanks in advance
-Dave

You can pass by an autostore and pick some octane booster, dump half a can in there and call it a day.

It's no big deal....just don't push it hard till you use up the fuel.

I drive my car on 87 everyday & have even run 12.9 at the track on 87. Never once had a issue with anything. As long as your stock as far as compression, you'll be fine.

Now if you have heads & higher compression I wouldn't suggest driving it much on anything except premimum or higher.

You are fine - besides, if the car starts to knock it'll pull timing and maybe switch to the low octane tables in the computer.

i hear that 87 mixed with a higher octane can cause a nuclear reaction.

dont dump in octane booster. it contains alcohol witch in turn puts some pretty sweet holes in pistons

1- Where did you ever hear that?
2- Think before you speak, cars run on E85 with proper tune.
3- It is not alcohol but methanol and not all of them have it.
