New cam is in the 383
Been looking for my missing 20 rwhp. Dyno'd 430 rwhp and 423 rwtq previously. But it would just die above 5900. Well...I got my crappy exhaust fixed with a great looking 3" true dual X pipe setup with dumps. That seemed to make a big difference. Then swapped out the R1 cam for a 236/242 .601/.610 112+4. Put that in this sat. It most definately has picked up now. It has great midrange Tq at 3500+rpm but pulls all the way past 6600 rpm. Im really hoping to hit 450 rwhp and 435 rwtq. Idle with the new cam is just right . Awesome lope, but does not stall at all. Idles on its own at 900 rpm without a problem.
Hopefully will hit the dyno soon.

Yes...XE-R lobes. And that intake was miss quoted...its .602 lift.
Vince...with you in the car it would be a 13 second car...even with the dual stage.

Good to hear Al. I'm positive you'll pick up power all over the place with that cam vs. the old one.
Just imagine what the car would do with some Stg 3 6.0L heads from TEA. For less than 2K in them you could EASILY eclipse 450 rwhp. Maybe close to 460-470 and crazy TQ. Sell your "other" heads and make most of your money back. Just a thought

Josh...thats the plan. But right now I just want to see how far these heads will take me.
I may actually go solid roller setup after this. But I am content for now. I want to enjoy the car for 6-8 months before I do anything else.
