I'm looking to upgrade my stock LS6 heads to get some more power out of the torquer 2 cam. I'm using an LS6 block as well so I have a little higher compression than the LS1 block. What heads will respond well? I've been offered some ported 5.3 truck heads.

I'd stick with the LS6 style heads, or maybe go with an aftermarket casting. I don't think 5.3's would really be much of a step up for you.

so you'd think ported Ls6 heads would be a good combo? there aren't any i could buy that would be a big step up for that cam? i also plan on upgrading to a much bigger cam in the future. like trex/ms4 big.
