What is everyone paying for a cam install, looking for some ball park #s

Thats what I figured- I got a quote for 1400 for the cam +spring+ install with a free install of a torque converter :
)

thats crazy most people around here, in illinois pay around 5-700 or so for a cam swap with springs, your getting scammed. i payed 800 for my lt4 to have a cam and springs done and theres more work there than a ls1
