Default head gasket?

what bore size should i get for my 3.905 inch bore block? i know im going with a MLS gasket. my engine builder said the Fel Pro 4.100 bore, .053 thickness for a 11.07 to 1 compression ratio. now i called around for prices... cometic makes a .051 thickness gasket at either 3.910 or 4.130. not the size the engine builder told me to get. the Cometics would only net me 11.1 to 1 compression ratio, (according to one calculator. and 11.46 to 1 with another calculator) dont know which one to go by. what is anyones opinion?

Why would your builder recommend a head gasket for a 383-422ci when your at 346ci. 3.910 is the best for stock applications. It all depends on what you exactly want. What compression are you set on??? Are your heads milled??? What is your deck height??? Do you have stock flat top pistons??? All this comes into play when considering headgaskets.............

its not a 346, it is indeed a 383 like you mentioned. flat top pistons w/ -2cc reliefs. i want between 11:1 and 11.5:1 compression, just a clean mill on the otherwise stock AFR 205 heads... 66 cc
