Default ARP head studs...install w/engine still in car....

Has anyone ever installed the arp head studs with the motor still in the vehicle. I'm having trouble with the passenger side rear lower stud. The only one left And I can't get the bastard to go in....I don't want to have to remove the heater core....but I guess if I have to..I will.....

Might not like my answer, but I'd take head back off and put stud in hole then holding it very gingerly and with a little luck you should be able to put stud in hile and place head on block.

well no need to worry about this problem...got it figured out it just has to be one of the first studs to go in is all....not a problem unless you don't go to ARP's website and realize that the instructions included in the kit are the wrong ones, and that you only need to torque the small studs down to 39lbs, not 65lbs like everything else ....so now I have a stripped bolt hole to deal w/ oh well maybe I'll get my car finished before next month....
