Default 370 CI on stock Sleeves?

Is it safe to bore out an LS1 block (roughly 23k mileage) to 4.030? (making it 370 on the stock stroke)..

No. Not the 3.898" stock bore block anyway. You can go a max of .012" on a stock block.

You would have to use a 6.0 iron block for that

so a 6.0l aluminum block would be a bad idea for a 370?
