ls1 lifter install... i searched and searched ...theres a oil hole on the side of the stock lifters...does the hole get installed up towards the intake or down towards the piston?

Well guys you can only install the lifters one way. The roller has to be on the cam lobe. If you try to flip it over your gonna have big problems. And the flat sides need to run toward the front end for the lifter trays to fit back over the new lifters.

yea the roller tip goes in the block got that, now theres an oil hole on one flat side, and no hole on the other flat side... which way did they come from the factory?

the holes on a hydraulic lifter dont matter which way they are installed, they just take in oil from the galleys and pump up the lifter...thanks everybody.
