Sewing machine under the hood! You got the right length pushrods in there?

Haha thanks! i dig my liscense plate

...and ya i couldn't believe how well it idles on the stock tune. It takes about 15 seconds of holding it at like 1500rpms in order to find its idle, but then it idles and drives fine.

from what everyone told me who helped me chose my combo...factory length pushrods should work fine. It is getting a little quieter now that im getting some miles on it.

Yeah that's a pretty nice idle, definitely sewing machine under the hood though... what springs you got?

Did you notice any loss of low end power? What rpm does the power come on at? Since you're still on stock tune, I'm assuming you're at stock rev limiter too...

They are patriot performance gold series duals with comp 7.4" pushrods with stock rockers

the power comes on early, like second gear pull comes on strong at like 2500ish (i never really focus on when it comes on) and it pulls hard to the stock limiter, so i think it will make good power higher up in the rpm band. It idles great on the stock tune, stock throttle body hole. Being M6 prolly helps that alot!

nice!! sound killer! as for the sewing sound, I went with 7.425 now it sounds like stock valve train. yup! guys were telling me I would be ok with stock length p-rods but I couldn't stand them ticking like that. now the question amongst others is how did I get the valve train quiet, 7.425 p-rods I tell them..

sounds killer man.

thanks for the advice on the pr's cowboysfan! ill prolly swap them out for some longer ones!

As for running on the stock tune, i cannot get over how well it drives. Its a little hard at finding idle when its cold, and if you are in like 3rd or 4th gear and slowly ease into the throttle, it loads up a tiny bit then takes off and pulls hard to redline. Cant wait to get it tuned! Numbers will be up shortly!

edit: GTgriller i just noticed your car is a4...everyone ive talked to has had problems with non-tuned driveability with the patriot 226...being that i am M6 prolly saved me from that grief

I really like the sound of your exhaust. What is it? I have the SLP LM with LTs and ORY and it's way too loud. I like how yours sounds.

Hooker Long tubes, Flowtech 3" ORY, Hooker Catback with hooker aero chamber...no cats. Awesome fitment front to back, and looks killer with the quad 3" tips! At cruise, or easy around town driving its very tolerable...but WOT and throttle snaps sound mean
